The Amy Kane State Farm Insurance office is proud to serve Geneva, and the greater Rochester area, including Clifton Springs, Phelps, Waterloo, Penn Yan, Newark, Canandaigua, and many surrounding Finger Lakes communities across Ontario County, Yates County, and Seneca County. I’ve been part of the State Farm family since April of 1990, first as a team member and then proudly as an agent since December 1999. In total, I bring more than three decades of insurance experience to the customers I serve. I was originally recruited into the insurance business by a competitor, but having grown up with State Farm myself, I knew quickly that if I was going to stay in this industry, I wanted to work for the company I trusted and respected most. Over the years, I have been honored to earn multiple State Farm Legion of Honor recognitions, reflecting my long-term commitment to service and professionalism.

I grew up in Brockport, NY, where my father was a professor for many years, and I’ve made upstate New York my home ever since. My husband and I live close to our office near the Cornell Environmental Center on Pre Emption Road in the JRB Commons. We’re lifelong dog lovers and currently share our home with a young rescue dog named Sophie, so it’s no surprise that our office is proudly pet friendly. If your dog stops by with you, chances are we’ll have a treat ready, or even a furry office companion to greet you.

I’m an outdoor enthusiast who truly loves everything the Finger Lakes region offers throughout the year. Hiking, biking, boating, skiing, and camping are all part of why I’m so passionate about living and working here. The festivals, live music, and four distinct seasons make this area special, and yes, winter is definitely not my least favorite.

Staying involved in the community is important to me, especially when it comes to supporting our most vulnerable neighbors. I’m an active member of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce, and I focus our community involvement on organizations that serve women, children, and families in need, including food banks, shelters, protection services, and scholarship programs for low-income students. Giving back is simply part of doing business the right way.
